Hi! Thanks for stopping by A T-Shirt and Pearls. I'm glad you're here!

Here are some things you should know about my blog:

My little blog was born because I started to feel bad for my husband having to constantly listen to me blabber about random stuff wanted a place to share my thoughts, recipes, inspiration, and projects.

I have always been a pearl girl with a classic sense of style, but I also crave comfort. For me a t-shirt {preferably black paired with dark wash jeans and flats} and pearls is the most comfortable, classic, perfect combination. In my book of fashion pearls go with anything, including a gym t-shirt! From the second A T-Shirt and Pearls popped into my head I knew it was the only name I could have for my blog.

Here are some things you should know about me:

I am a foodie. I love to eat and try new recipes/restaurants/foods. My dream is to take a foodie vacation where I travel to spots around the world based on trying the different cuisines.

I am a kindergarten teacher and I also have a home based business. Check out my shop page for more info!

I love tea {and tea sandwiches}. I have an on and off relationship with coffee, although I am always in the mood for some Starbucks.

My philosophy on life is that it is all about balance. I try really hard to follow a healthy and clean eating lifestyle, but if I am craving something or in the mood for junk I definitely indulge. I enjoy food too much to deprive myself.

I always try and stay faithful and trust that everything happens for a reason. 

I love to read. 

I'm kind of a homebody. Don't confuse me for a hermit, I love to travel and try new adventures, but I really love to be in my comfies relaxing at home.

I have an awesome hubby. He is my best friend.

We like to be silly together. We took this picture after we got our new laptop and we were playing on Photo Booth. Yeah we like to get crazy on the weekends.

Oh, ok, if you must know we took this one too...

For a more normal picture, here we are on the trip of a lifetime. We were mainly in Austria, but we also stopped in Germany. We had to go to the Hofbrauhaus of course!
